Hey! I’m Kene!

I’m just another queen trying to find her way through this world too! I’m currently a second-year MPH candidate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst on the health policy and management track. I graduated with my BS in Public Health Sciences in May 2021, with a focus area in Global Women's Health and a certificate in Reproductive Health, Rights and Justice. As a student, I am passionate about womxn's health, reproductive health, health equity, and policy. Specifically, I am fascinated by how our social structures and policies deny or grant access to health/ quality of health to certain populations.

I put together this website as a place for me to ramble about my thoughts and share my travels! I have always been passionate about helping others and learning about new cultures- and I am so excited to start doing more of both! I am a lover of all herbal teas, an aspiring yoga teacher, women’s rights activist, critical thinker, and so much more! When I am not in school, you can find me blogging, reading, lifting in the gym or off on an adventure with friends. Thanks for tagging along, enjoy the adventure!
